關於Scroll
Scroll is a zkEVM Layer 2 on Ethereum that replaces fraud proofs with zero-knowledge proofs, compressing L2 transaction batches for submission to Ethereum and verifying them through a contract on mainnet. It targets withdrawal delay and trust assumptions in rollups: optimistic designs wait out a seven-day challenge window, while a validity proof confirms state as soon as it lands. Scroll keeps bytecode-level EVM compatibility, its sequencer submits batches within minutes of producing blocks, proofs are recursively aggregated into one, and settlement completes on Ethereum.
Clients are Ethereum developers migrating existing contracts at lower cost, plus stablecoin and RWA issuers, with tooling unchanged from Hardhat and Foundry. Compared with zk designs built around their own virtual machine, Scroll stays close to Ethereum execution semantics so migration changes little, and what the mainnet contract verifies is a standard EVM state transition. An OpenVM 2.0 upgrade completed on 22 September 2026, swapping the proof system to SWIRL and adding a recursive verifier circuit and aggregation pipeline, with L1 batch confirmation paused for about an hour during the window.

Token unlocks: About 97.42 million SCR, worth roughly $2.06 million, unlocks at 07:00 Beijing time on October 22 for the ecosystem and growth pool; a smaller unlock of about $300,000 occurred on September 22.
Supply structure: Of the 1 billion total supply only about 190 million, or 19%, is circulating, with the rest released on a cliff and linear schedule through 2028; the token trades near $0.02 for an FDV of about $20 million, with no buyback or protocol revenue disclosure in the past six months.
In 2026 Scroll publicly reset its direction. In a governance forum post the team said AI had cut core chain operations from more than twenty engineers to a handful supported by agents, prompting a rethink of what the network should optimise for, and set out a connected product stack: the Compass iOS app, a Compass API routing to more than thirty models, CENO as a zero-knowledge trust layer, USX for payments and settlement, and SCR for governance coordination.
CENO has reached more than thirty prospective customers, twelve of which are running proofs of concept. Over roughly nine months the team intends to turn Scroll from a general-purpose chain into a private network built around that AI stack, with SCR moving to Ethereum mainnet to stay liquid and accessible while supply and tokenomics remain unchanged. Technically, the prover moved from OpenVM v1.6 to v2.0 with the SWIRL proof system on 22 September, and Binance added a monitoring tag to SCR on 5 September, which the team says it is discussing with the exchange.
Scroll's transition will be put to the DAO in stages, with emphasis on making agent permissions verifiable and revocable and turning enterprise privacy compute into recurring revenue.
