關於Boba Network
Boba Network is an optimistic rollup on Ethereum that grew out of OMG Network's Plasma research. It relies on optimistic verification and fraud proofs, executing transactions offchain, batching them to layer 1, and holding withdrawals through a challenge period. Its extension is Hybrid Compute: contracts send compute jobs to offchain services through oracle-style requests and write results back onchain, letting them call machine learning models or legacy APIs without forcing all logic into the EVM.
The network is deployed on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Moonbeam and Sonic, with the token used for gas and governance and an ecosystem centered on gaming, NFTs and cross-chain apps. Hybrid Compute's offchain execution depends on centralized cloud services such as AWS Lambda, and result integrity rests jointly on the caller and the relay, so use cases needing strong verification require extra checks; multi-chain deployment also spreads liquidity and development resources across five networks.

On October 8, 2026, KuCoin delisted BOBA among 30 tokens under its special treatment rules, ending spot trading that day with withdrawals open until November 9. In April, CryptoRank data showed its market value down 99.26% from its last billion-dollar valuation.
Boba Network continued development: DIA oracle feeds were documented on October 17, and on October 18 execution-layer sync was enabled for mainnet and Sepolia with refreshed bootnodes. The Boba Network team has framed 2026 as the year to reach product-market fit and sustainable revenue, building L2 interoperability and onchain AI apps around HybridCompute.
Boba Network's Future strategy and roadmap: differentiate on off-chain compute calls, distribute through Superchain interoperability first, and sustain the network on real revenue rather than token incentives.
