關於ZecFrogs
ZecFrogs is a pixel-frog NFT project on Zcash, planning 6,969 Pixel Frogs and positioned as one of ZEC's first frog series, using the frog community as an entry to build a Zcash-centric 'Pond' ecosystem. Minting is shielded by default, supporting only Noir wallet's u1 shielded addresses; users reserve a little ZEC for gas and protocol fees and can apply for the whitelist via the site.
Beyond the NFTs, ZecFrogs is building ZecPad, a Launchpad and Marketplace for the Zcash ecosystem aimed at NFT issuance and secondary trading. As a composite native-NFT and issuance-market project on a privacy chain, ZecFrogs leverages Zcash's shielded properties to integrate shielded minting, NFT issuance and secondary trading into one infrastructure, filling the gap in NFT issuance and circulation on privacy chains. Shielded minting makes the link between participants and collectibles hard for outsiders to reconstruct.
Among the 2026 NFT wave on Zcash, ZecFrogs is one of the few projects that treats issuance as infrastructure. On September 21 it ran a free mint of 6,969 pixel frogs, open only to u1 shielded addresses in the Noir wallet, with minters reserving about 0.007 ZEC for gas and protocol fees and the Froglist whitelist opened beforehand. The telling part is the standard it picked: shielded-by-default written into the mint gate, a zero-cost drop used to filter the first holders on a privacy chain, and the frog collection turned into the doorway to Pond.
The ZecFrogs team is building ZecPad into Zcash's issuance and secondary-trading layer, starting with NFT minting and primary sales before adding listings and fills so later projects do not have to write their own contracts. Pond aggregates holders and organizes activity, feeding traffic both ways, with NFT holders as the first users of both.
