關於Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet is a derivatives protocol built on Infrared within Berachain, splitting one iBGT into two assets with different risk: uvBERA is a synthetic stablecoin softly pegged to BERA, uvPREM carries the premium between BERA and BGT, and together they always redeem for one iBGT, which is how arbitrage pulls uvBERA back toward its peg.
Because BGT cannot be transferred and only comes from emissions, making that premium a separate tradable instrument gives direct exposure to bribe and emission income, so holders are not forced to take BERA price risk at the same time. The protocol later took over yBGT and migrated it one to one into uvBGT, which boosts validators and routes the resulting yield into the uvBGT and swBERA pool, with a 10 percent fee on redemption. uvBERA can also sit in a metapool to earn proof-of-liquidity rewards and trading fees, or be posted as collateral elsewhere.
Ultraviolet applies a dynamic fee to minting and redeeming UV assets, with a base rate of 0.25% that floats with liquidity pool imbalance and can rise to a maximum of 25% in extreme scenarios.
Ultraviolet supports migrating yBGT into uvBGT at a 1:1 ratio, while redeeming the underlying yBGT into BERA incurs a 10% redemption fee.
