關於THORSwap
THORSwap is the main front end and cross-chain aggregator for THORChain: users swap native assets straight from their own wallets, with no wrapping, no custody and no reliance on centralised bridges. The routing layer compares pool depth and quotes across THORChain, Maya Protocol and NEAR Intents, splitting an order into multiple sub-swaps to limit price impact on large trades. Matching happens on-chain and execution prices come from pool state, so the front end does not set prices. It functions as the retail entry point and liquidity aggregation layer for the THORChain ecosystem.
Fees are 0.2% to the liquidity pool plus a 0.3% front-end fee, and THOR stakers receive 75% of protocol revenue. In March 2026 the front end routed USD 94.35 million with USD 382.9 thousand in fees, and on 14 April 2026 it added Rapid Swaps, executing multiple sub-swaps inside a single block to cut settlement time. The underlying network processed USD 2.40 billion of swaps in September, of which about USD 1.37 billion between 25 and 29 September was linked to funds stolen from Bitget, more than half the monthly total and a reminder of the compliance gap in permissionless cross-chain flow.
Token migration and incentives: On Jul 30 a second draft of TIP-19 proposed migrating THOR to METRO at roughly 1:1, with 50% haircut for early unlock within 30 days and full unlock after 90 days; for the first 3 months 50% of yield goes to stakers and 25% to buybacks and liquidity. Metro.exchange open beta launched on Apr 24.
Setbacks: THORChain suffered a $10.7M exploit in May and halted for about a month, with 3.5M THOR drained from a vault at 90%+ slippage; a support widget was compromised in September. An Aug 28 assessment found near-zero volume, zero TVL and a ~98.9% drawdown from ATH.
THORSwap added a DASH route via Maya Protocol and NEAR Intents on March 23, 2026, posting $94.35M in monthly volume, buying back and burning 1,143,223 $THOR, with staking APY near 28%; on April 15 it launched Rapid Swaps, leveraging THORChain's streaming-swap upgrade so large cross-chain trades complete in 30-40 minutes under optimal conditions, already accounting for nearly 50% of THORChain volume.
On April 24 THORSwap celebrated its fifth anniversary and launched the Metro.exchange open beta (V3), unifying the tech stack for both power users and consumer DeFi users, with a roadmap of Direct Orders, limit orders, privacy features, gas abstraction and perps/prediction markets.
Future strategy and roadmap: Going forward THORSwap will keep turning protocol upgrades like Rapid Swaps into product experience, add new chains and cross-chain providers, and deliver limit orders, privacy options and gas abstraction on V3, cementing its non-custodial, one-click cross-chain DEX aggregator across 9 chains.
