On March 25, 2026 NEAR Intents went live on Bungee, pricing swaps across more than 30 chains and reaching Bungee's 300,000 monthly users and 200-plus integrators. In the same period BOB Gateway became the native Bitcoin provider in Socket's routing network, so Bungee and every app on the Socket API can use native BTC as a source or destination asset without wrapping or a custodian.
Socket's routing layer remains the core asset: Bungee has passed $25 billion of cumulative volume across 20 to 29 chains, putting multiple bridges and DEXs into one comparison pool. Work with Pendle upgraded Bungee to V3, allowing one-click conversion of any token on any chain into PT or YT with gas on the destination paid by the protocol. The team's public view is that cross-chain aggregation competes on latency, reliability and security rather than the last basis point. For integrators, native BTC routing removes wrapped assets and custodians, shifting settlement risk from issuers to routing and solvers.
Socket will keep distributing through B2B channels, embedding routing into wallets and exchanges rather than fighting consumer apps for traffic, and widen coverage of native assets and intent-based orders.
