Progress: On August 25 the team held a strategy AMA discussing survival after the downturn and its AI and RWA roadmap; on September 30 Roam announced a partnership with AI-agent infrastructure platform Pieverse to explore combining decentralized wireless connectivity with autonomous agents.
On March 18, 2026, Roam launched RoamAI, giving users access to more than 20 AI models after a QR-code login inside the app; the same month ROAM marked its first anniversary, listed on more than 10 exchanges including Bybit, Bitget and KuCoin, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens.
In March 2026 Roam extended ROAM to the ENI blockchain and partnered with Web3 social payments platform Metya; the lock-up pool added eSIM data rewards, with 3,000 ROAM locked for 28 days earning 5,000MB a month. The site reports 3.28 million registered users, node growth of 6.41 million and WiFi coverage in more than 190 countries.
Roam's official materials describe the next stage as a Web4 connectivity layer that gives AI devices decentralised identity, onchain payments and the network needed for edge inference, while hardware miners and eSIM distribution keep expanding coverage.
