關於Peanut Protocol
Peanut makes payments out of links. A sender deposits stablecoins into a contract protected by a secret and receives a link or QR code to pass along in any chat app. The recipient opens the link and claims, without needing to know an address beforehand or install a wallet first. It removes the need to exchange addresses before paying and the errors that come with cross-chain or cross-currency transfers.
Mechanically, each deposit generates a seed that deterministically derives an asymmetric key pair. The public key is stored with the funds, and the private key lives only in the link. On claim, the recipient signs the destination address with that private key and the contract releases funds once the signature matches, so a front-runner watching the mempool cannot take the deposit from public information. The sender keeps a reclaim right if the link is lost. The protocol supports native tokens, ERC-20s and NFTs across more than twenty EVM networks, and adds abstraction layers for cross-chain claims and stablecoin conversion, so paying in USDT and receiving USDC settles as one payment.
Peanut adds no platform fee on digital-dollar deposits, ACH transfers or in-app transfers, and charges a flat $20 per USD wire withdrawal; the Peanut Card settles cross-currency purchases at the Visa rate plus a 1% Visa network fee, with no markup on same-currency purchases.
