Own Protocol

Own Protocol is deployed on both Base and Robinhood Chain and builds on-chain synthetic exposure to equities and indices. It targets traders who want price exposure to names such as Tesla or the S&P 500 without holding the securities themselves, where tokenised equities are constrained by issuance and compliance channels.

A total return swap matches both sides: the buyer pays a fixed rate for the underlying price move, while the seller supplies exposure in token form and earns a floating rate. Positions rebalance once per trading day against oracle open, high, low and close data, and the rate anchors to an on-chain benchmark rate plus one percentage point. The eUSD stablecoin is overcollateralised at a 150 percent minimum ratio and protocol fees buy back and burn hourly; matching happens inside a pool and positions exist as transferable token balances.
