NewDex

NewDex is an order-book-style decentralized exchange on EOS that launched in August 2018, keeping both order placement and settlement on-chain: market makers write quotes directly into the contract and update them in real time, with no AMM curve pricing, and the interface supports limit and market orders, with trades written into blocks for public audit. The platform later extended its aggregation to BNB Chain, connecting liquidity from several BSC protocols so users could compare and search for quotes across chains in one interface.

Its narrative is one of the earliest infrastructure-grade DEXs in the EOS ecosystem, providing an early sample of on-chain order-book trading and aggregated quoting. The operators discontinued the service on December 1, 2024; on-chain contracts and historical trade records remain queryable on block explorers, and no new versions have been published since.
