關於Ligo Network
Ligo Network is a Bitcoin Layer 2 built around its own BVM (Bitcoin Virtual Machine, multi-language with parallel execution) and RPPOM consensus, aiming to move the computation behind Ordinals, BRC-20 and ORC-20 style protocols off centralized servers, with a design throughput officially stated at 10,000 to 30,000 transactions per second. The pain it targets is that BRC-20-type protocols depend on centralized indexers whose state cannot be verified and can be censored at a single point; Ligo writes computation results into a Merkle tree and exposes query and verification through smart contracts. Cross-chain BTC custody uses an MPC solution operated with SinoHope under a zero-trust architecture for the full key lifecycle.
In the ecosystem Ligo belongs to the camp of Bitcoin L2s that add smart-contract capability, choosing a multi-VM route for compatibility with EVM code and liquidity so developers can port existing EVM applications, while inscriptions and new asset issuance gain a low-fee venue. Its target users are Bitcoin-ecosystem developers building DeFi, NFT and GameFi products, and how the consensus and parallel-VM combination behaves under real load depends on the scale of application migration.
