Hathor Network is a Layer 1 blockchain built around configurable privacy, public when it should be and private when it needs to be, integrating privacy, compliance and auditability into one transaction through confidential transactions with selective disclosure. It stresses scalable digital infrastructure from tokenization platforms to AI-native applications.
The project has built-in tokenization so users can create tokens and perform swaps, and supports nano contracts with optional privacy settings, letting developers build scalable systems under programmable trust. On March 4, 2026, Hathor Network activated fee-based tokens on mainnet, advancing its economic model. Around June 10, 2026, the v0.70.0 release took effect on mainnet, cutting the target block time from about 30 seconds to about 7.5 seconds (subject to a network vote), noticeably speeding up transaction confirmation; the release also laid groundwork for lifting OCB restrictions.
In 2026, Hathor also integrated the x402 open payment standard so apps, APIs and AI agents can pay per request in real time; the first official DEX, Dozer Finance, went live on mainnet and launched its flagship liquidity incentive program Project Oasis, offering matched HTR for pools like hUSDC, lock-period bonuses (10% / 15% / 20% for 6 / 9 / 12 months) and impermanent-loss protection.
