關於FoxWallet
FoxWallet is a non-custodial multi-chain crypto wallet that emphasizes local private-key custody by the user and gained attention from the Filecoin community through early support for that ecosystem. It addresses the pain point that users want to manage assets across multiple chains without handing private keys to a centralized platform, providing self-custody through local encrypted storage and mnemonic schemes, with built-in swap, staking and dApp browser entry points. Its core is a multi-chain account abstraction and local private-key signing mechanism where every transaction requires local user authorization.
In the wallet infrastructure sector, FoxWallet differentiates from custodial and single-chain wallets through multi-chain self-custody and a Filecoin focus, serving retail users who value asset control. As a non-custodial solution, asset safety depends entirely on the user's own key management and device security; the platform neither takes custody of funds nor offers recovery, and its built-in swap and staking aggregation rely on third-party protocols whose availability and stability vary significantly with each chain's ecosystem maturity.
In March 2025, FoxWallet released a browser extension and shipped version 5.5.3 with early support for the Monad testnet; it iterated to v5.5.25 between June and July 2026, and on September 9 shipped Chrome extension build 0.14.2. The wallet now supports more than 100 blockchains, spanning the Ethereum and Bitcoin ecosystems as well as emerging high-performance chains, with swap, staking, and hardware wallet connectivity.
FoxWallet's roadmap emphasizes broader multi-chain coverage, account abstraction and MPC custody, and native support for new chains, continuing to serve mobile and browser users in a non-custodial model.
