On July 21, 2026, Cordant, a stablecoin and digital asset financial infrastructure provider, announced an $8 million seed round co-led by Motive Partners and Oak HC/FT, with Bitso, Paxos, Bankless VC, FJ Labs, SignalFire, Quona, Next Stage, Selah Ventures, Flatironx, Nascent Ventures, Silvercircle Ventures and Generative Ventures participating. The founding team comes from Rapyd, one of the largest global payments infrastructure players.
Cordant serves regulated financial institutions and financial infrastructure companies, unifying transaction and operational activity across fragmented systems into an observability and orchestration layer without replacing existing banking, payments, ledger, compliance and clearing systems, and providing auditable activity records for compliance and risk teams. Bitso, the Latin American digital asset and payments platform, and blockchain infrastructure firm Paxos both invested and act as design partners.
