關於Column
Column is a bank holding an OCC national charter, with its own clearing and ledger stack built after it acquired Northern California National Bank in 2021. It connects directly to the Federal Reserve, TCH and Swift, folding ACH, wires, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, checks and card acquiring into one API. Its customers are fintechs that need a charter without the sponsor-bank model: they call account opening, transfers, card issuing and credit endpoints from their own code, funds sit on Column's balance sheet with no middleware, and parameters such as FX markup are configurable through the API.
On 16 September 2026 Column put USDC and USDT into its banking core, so stablecoin addresses and deposit accounts share one ledger, both directions convert around the clock without prefunding, Solana became the default network in the API, and Brex and Slash were named as live users. The capability is limited to US entities, which leaves offshore institutions unable to open accounts directly and dependent on local partners abroad.
On September 16, 2026, Column launched a default stablecoin (USDC/USDT) banking rail for the Solana ecosystem, offering around-the-clock fiat conversion with no pre-funding and embedding compliant banking infrastructure directly into on-chain payment flows. On March 1, 2026, Column reported that its annualized revenue surpassed $200 million, marking the scaled adoption of its banking-as-a-service model in crypto-native scenarios.
Future strategy and roadmap: Column plans to extend its banking rail across more chains and asset classes, deepen integrations with Solana DeFi protocols, and push 24/7 real-time settlement into additional fiat corridors, aiming to become the default settlement layer bridging traditional banking and on-chain economies.
