On January 21, 2026 Architect partnered with compute index provider Ornn to list exchange-traded futures tracking GPU rental and DRAM spot prices on AX, marginable in dollars or dollar stablecoins; on March 25 it launched the industry's first perpetual futures on interest-rate benchmarks with MarketVector. On May 28, after acquiring a US designated contract market, it announced the American Innovation Exchange, the first CFTC-regulated venue for futures and options on compute costs and AI supply-chain inputs, covered by Bloomberg and The Economist.
On July 8 Architect launched ComputeConnect with Compute Desk, linking CFTC-regulated compute derivatives to physical GPU delivery in what it calls the first US compute exchange-for-physical network; on July 21 the Bermuda Monetary Authority let AX open its regulated 23/7 perpetual futures on traditional assets to eligible individual investors and omnibus brokerage accounts.
Architect's window comes from a regulatory gap: AX already lists perpetuals on equities, FX, rates and commodities under the Bermuda Monetary Authority while CME and ICE cash-settled compute futures await CFTC clearance, so the offshore venue builds benchmarks and a market-maker network first. The $35 million Series A in January was led by Tioga Capital and Miami International Holdings with Galaxy, ARK, VanEck, Trumid and Geneva Trading participating, bringing total funding to $52 million; exchange operators and trading firms on the cap table tie liquidity to ownership. The moat is not contract design but whether GPU rental and DRAM benchmarks become standardized underlyings institutions accept.

Architect's AX perpetual futures exchange uses a maker-taker ladder with maker fees of 0 bp across all tiers and taker fees tiered by monthly volume: 2 bp for USD 0 to 10 million, 1 bp for 10 to 25 million, 0.5 bp for 25 to 100 million and 0.25 bp above 100 million.
Architect's Plus account costs USD 100 per month and includes reduced commissions, unlimited API trading and proprietary execution algorithms.
October 2025: Architect Bermuda Ltd obtained dual Bermuda Monetary Authority licences, a Class F digital asset business licence and an investment business licence, to run AX, a perpetual futures exchange for traditional assets accepting stablecoin collateral.
