On March 4, 2026, Dynamic, the asset management arm of Scotiabank, launched the actively managed Dynamic Active Multi-Crypto ETF (ticker DXMC) on Cboe Canada, with 3iQ as sub-adviser. The fund holds bitcoin, ether, Solana and XRP, and its management fee was cut from 0.45% to 0.25% until March 1, 2027, making it Canada's first actively managed multi-crypto ETF issued with a Big Five bank. 3iQ had already agreed to be acquired by Japan's Coincheck for $111.84 million, becoming a subsidiary of its Nasdaq-listed parent, with the deal expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
3iQ will use bank and brokerage distribution to build out a family of active strategies, keep expanding staking and multi-asset ETPs, and draw on Coincheck's Asian network to reach institutional clients.
